  1. I read Sylvia Plath's Journals and am about halfway through my next book so I think my goal to read three books a month is going to be accomplished again. Yay!

  2. Satia: I've given up on this challenge completely, however I'm glad to see you all are keeping up. There will definitely be a prize at the end of it, so stay tuned. :)

Karen: It's getting there. I might have more time to blog now that I'm back down to part-time, I just need to be able to get to the library more often. My computer should be back up and running by the end of August. *fingers crossed*

  4. Gabriel, I'm enjoying the challenge and no prize is necessary so far as I'm concerned because I didn't even realize there was a prize. Of course, now that I do I'm wondering what it is and who will win it. Oooooh . . .

I know how frustrating it can be to not have access to a working computer. Focus on yourself and keep reading. From what my experience, the internet is always here when I finally get back online even after a long absence.

  5. Satia: I'm still not even sure what the prize is, but you guys have all been really dedicated to posting reviews for this challenge that I feel you deserve something. As December gets closer, I'll figure something out. :)

That's great advice and really is true. I just get frustrated because forces out of my control are what's keeping me from blogging on a regular basis. I'd be okay with it if it was just my own laziness or something, but here I am chomping at the bit to read and blog and the universe is just against me. LOL

  6. I posted a review of The Waves by Virginia Woolf which I've finally gotten around to reading. Took me long enough! But that's the point of the challenge, isn't it. I have to go through my list and see what books I think are my best choices for September.

Is it just me or did this month simply fly by?

  7. I've been slacking on this challenge this month but there is still time to redeem myself! Posted a review of Austen's P&P.
