It's Monday! What Are You Reading?

In the process of surviving my grueling weekend I completely forgot about IMWAYR. I guess technically I kind of posted about this last night but I figured it would be a good idea to make an "official" reading list post.

Sheila at Book Journey hosts It's Monday! What Are You Reading? every Monday morning. It gives book bloggers the opportunity to share what they've been reading, what they are reading, and what they will be reading.

What I Read Last Week:
-The Hobbit by J. R. R. Tolkien

What I'm Reading Now:
-The Catcher in the Rye by J. D. Salinger

What I'm Reading Next:
-A Prayer for Own Meany by John Irving
-Angus, Thongs and Full-Frontal Snogging: Confessions of Georgia Nicolson by Louise Rennison

I still haven't finished Pick Your Poison but I'll be finishing that once Banned Book Week is over. I'll also be reading the books in my "On Deck" list after that.

I'd say that my first week back was pretty successful. I didn't read everything I wanted to, but I did blog every day, I posted a review, I set some goals, and I even finally let the cat out of the bag about something I'd been hiding since day one of this blog (and later I made a decision to not change everything because it ended up not really mattering to anyone one way or another). I didn't get to do Bloggiesta because of how busy this weekend was, but I'm going to spending my time off this week getting things done that I wanted to for that.

I'll also be spending a fair amount of time talking about Banned Books Week. You all know how opinionated I am so you can probably guess that I'm going to get pretty passionate about the subject.

What about all of you? What are you reading?

-Gabe

    1. I've never read any of the books that I'm reading for Banned Book Week, even though I know I should have picked them up before this.
