Jennifer at Crazy for Books just posted the Book Blogger Hop yesterday and I'm just now getting around to doing it. Every week, she asks a question and hundreds of book bloggers answer it.
This week, the question is: Outside of books, what is your guilty pleasure?
My answer: I have a really big thing for learning languages. I've studied three so far (French, German, and ancient Greek) but I have a list of about a dozen more that I'd like to learn at some point. I don't really know what it is about language, but it fascinates and excites me. I think I like the fact that I can express myself in four different languages, which gives me much more choice, and that if I eventually get to travel I can actually converse with people in various countries in their native tongue.
I would like to add, though, that neither books nor languages are really a "guilty" pleasure. They're just a regular, plain old pleasure.
