  1. Tom Sawyer - great way to start the readathon! I haven't seen Stardust, but I think it should probably go on my Netflix queue!

  2. I loved reading Stardust, but I've never seen the movie. I'll have to give it a try.

  3. Love Tom Sawyer. Great choice for today.

I have a Gaiman book set aside and hope to read it in this readathon...The Graveyard Book.

  4. Julie: I've never read Tom Sawyer before but I'm loving every minute of it. Stardust is an amazing film. In fact, I like the movie better than I liked the book (a fact I'm mildly ashamed of).

    Becky: It's definitely worth watching.

Asheley: Thanks. I loved Huckleberry Finn, so I'm guessing Tom Sawyer will be just as good. I read The Graveyard Book in April; it was pretty good, although I liked his other novels much better. Hope you like it!

  5. Ooh! I did like Stardust, but I haven't seen (or read) Timeline. Did you like the book, at least?

  6. I really liked the book of Timeline, which is why I was even more disappointed with the film. I prefer the film of Stardust to the book, which makes me sad since I love Gaiman's novels.
